When we last saw Offred, she was being taken away from the Commander’s house. But where was she being taken to? That remains to be seen. A new trailer for season 2 of THE HANDMAID’S TALE doesn’t give us a lot of details, but we do see a pregnant Offred trying to survive in this horrible world.
The trailer below also offers us glimpses at Serena Joy (who doesn’t look happy), the Commander (who continues to do horrible things) and Offred’s old husband and friend (who have found a measure of freedom but are still suffering). Will the persecuted women of Gilead manage to overthrow their oppressors?
Season 2 will consist of 13 episodes. The show will have a two-hour premiere on April 25 on Hulu and then one episode will be released every subsequent Wednesday.
