It’s been six years since our various heroes on THE 100 have seen one another and the large group of Grounders and the people from the Ark are all scattered. One large group has spent the time after the Death Wave in a bunker underground, led by Octavia. Up in the Ark, Bellamy, Raven and their friends have survived again in space. And Clarke has found herself a surrogate daughter to raise and love as she seems to be the lone human still living aboveground.
But then, as we saw in the season 4 finale, a new threat in the form of a ship owned by the Eligius Corporation has come to the ground. Clarke, trying once again to get in touch with her friends up in the Ark, spotted a ship trying to touch down in what seems to be the last hospitable valley left in their area of the world.
From the looks of the nearly four minute preview below, season 5 of THE 100 will fill in some blanks about what everyone was up to while they were spart for six years. But more than that, everyone is going to have to come together to fight a new enemy — one who seems determined to claim the valley for their own.
THE 100 will return for an all new season on April 24 on The CW.
