A few doctors will find themselves in difficult situations, while others find competition heightening, when CHICAGO MED returns.
After episodes filled with tension between Connor and Dr. Bekker, the pair gave in the last episode. But with that next step, comes the fallout and consequences that go with it. In Rhodes and Bekker’s case, that means escalating competition and disagreeing how to treat a young boy with a chronic disease that comes into the emergency department.
While Bekker and Rhodes figure out the proper treatment is for their patient while trying to work together, Dr. Manning and Dr. Choi come up against a difficult situation when they help deliver the baby of a pregnant teen at a homeless encampment. April and Dr. Halstead are caught in a position where they would have to look at their ethics as medical professionals and human beings when they find out that the patient they are treating is a pedophile.
Elsehwere on CHICAGO MED, Dr. Charles learns something new about Dr. Reese’s father that may be important to treatment as Goodwin and Maggie have to deal with a lawsuit that the hospital is a party to.
