The robots are rising up in season 2 of WESTWORLD. In the first extended trailer for the new season of the critically acclaimed HBO series, Dolores, Maeve and the other robots have had enough.
Maeve is concerned about getting her daughter back in the preview, even though one of the park’s employees tell her that her relationship with her daughter isn’t real. But it appears that this search is going to bring Maeve to a place that was only teased last season: Shogun World.
Flashbacks of younger Logan and William will also continue in the new season, showing us how William went from the Jimmi Simpson version to the crueler Ed Harris version. Of course, at the center of William’s story is Dolores.
Speaking of Dolores, while we’ll get more about her past iterations in the park, we’re also going to see her progressing with the robot uprising. From the looks of the trailer below, she’s the driving force of this “reckoning”.
WESTWORLD returns for its second season on April 22 on HBO.
