NBC Renews GOOD GIRLS for a Second Season

May 7, 2018 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

GOOD GIRLS may have ended its freshman season with a cliffhanger in April, but fans can rest easy knowing that the show has been renewed for a second season.

The series, starring Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Izzy Stannard and Matthew Lillard, has averaged a 1.5 rating in adults 18-49 and 6.1 million viewers overall in L+7 Nielsen ratings. Executive produced by Jenna Bans, GOOD GIRLS follows three suburban mothers who get tired of playing by the rules and struggling to make ends meet. After deciding to rob the local grocery store, they discover that they got themselves into more trouble than they anticipated — particularly after they realize who the money in the store actually belonged to.

There’s no word yet on whether GOOD GIRLS will remain a midseason show in season 2, but we should know more on Sunday when NBC releases its fall schedule.
