NBC will be returning to school next season with the renewal of freshman comedy series A.P. Bio.
Glenn Howerton (IT’S ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA) stars as a philosophy scholar who lost his dream job at a prestigious university and moved back to his hometown after his mother’s death to become an Advanced Placement biology teacher. Except he spends more time plotting against his nemesis than actually teaching biology and won’t hesitate to use his students in his schemes.
The show also stars Patton Oswalt, Lyric Lewis, Mary Sohn, Jean Villepique, Tom Bennett, Paula Pell, Charlie McCrackin, Jacob McCarthy, Aparna Brielle, Nick Peine, Allisyn Ashley Arm, Eddie Leavy, Jacob Houston, Sari Arambulo, Tucker Albrizzi and Spence Moore II.
A.P. Bio premiered at midseason and is averaging a 1.2 rating in 18-49 and 3.7 million viewers overall in L+7, but was well-received by critics.
