Fox has picked up two new shows for the 2018-2019 season: drama series PROVEN INNOCENT and comedy THE COOL KIDS.
PROVEN INNOCENT (formerly known as INFAMY) is a legal drama set in a wrong conviction law firm. The team, led by a fearless female lawyer, reopens investigations to exonerate the innocent who were found guilty in a court of law. The female lead’s passion is driven by her own experience of being convicted and then later exonerated for a crime she didn’t commit.
The series stars Vincent Kartheiser, Russell Hornsby, Rachelle Lefevre, Riley Smith, Brian d’Arcy James, Clare O’Connor, Francis Guinan, Persia White, Shanesia Davis, Karin Anglin, Caitlin Mehner, Nikki M. James, Meg Thalken, and Grace Fahey. David Elliot and Danny Strong serve as executive producers.
THE COOL KIDS is set in a retirement community and follows three male friends who are the top dogs of the place — at least until their position is usurped by a female rebel who has recently joined the community. Think high school politics and popularity, but starring the elderly.
Charlie Day, Nick Frenkel and Paul Fruchbom will serve as executive producers. The cast includes Vicki Lawrence, Martin Mull, David Alan Grier, and Leslie Jordan star.
