NBC has renewed LAW & ORDER: SVU for a 20th season, according to star Ice-T on Twitter. The series has gone on long after the departure of Chris Meloni, one of the two original stars. Mariska Hargitay, who has appeared in every episode, continued the series along with Ice-T, who first appeared in the show in 2000. The pair have been joined along the way by new recurring actors, including Kelli Giddish and Peter Scanavino. Recently, Philip Winchester joined as the show’s new District Attorney.
LAW & ORDER: SVU airs on Wednesday nights at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on NBC.
