Josh Dallas of ONCE UPON A TIME is moving to NBC to star in a new series for the 2018-2019 season: MANIFEST.
This is billed a high-brow serialized drama in the style of LOST. Dallas’ character is one of the passengers aboard Montego Air Flight 828. The passengers are terrified when the flight experiences extreme turbulence, but are relieved when the plane lands safety. They soon realize, however, that something very mysterious has happened. While the plane was in the air for a few hours, the rest of the world has aged five years and the friends and family members of those passengers have already mourned the loss of the people they believed were dead.
The passengers now essentially have a second chance at life, but “a deeper mystery unfolds and some of the returned passengers soon realize they may be meant for something greater than they ever thought possible.”
Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke will serve as executive producers on the show.
