NBC has ordered THE INBETWEEN For the 2018-2019 season. Harriet Dyer stars as Cassie Bishop, a woman who was born with a gift — although she often thinks of it as a curse. As someone who can communicate with the dead, she feels compelled to help them with their unresolved problems, whether she wants to or not.
Enter her longtime friend Detective Tom Hackett and his new partner, former FBI Agent Damien Asante. When the pair need help solving a mysterious murder, Cassie agrees to use her abilities to aid them. This, of course, leads to her joining the police to solve more crimes.
