NBC has opted not to renew its freshman series THE BRAVE for a second season. The show was averging a 0.9 demo rating and 4.6 million viewers and wasn’t retaining enough ratings from lead-in THE VOICE.
The show, starring Mike Vogel and Anne Heche, was one of several new military dramas for the 2018-2019 season. While THE BRAVE and VALOR (The CW) were both cancelled, SEAL TEAM on CBS has been renewed.
The first season finale of THE BRAVE aired at the end of January and now serves as the series finale.
