MANIFEST: First Look at NBC’s New Mystery Series

The Stone family is at the heart of MANIFEST, NBC’s new mystery series. Ben and Grace Stone are on vacation with her two young children, their parents, and Ben’s sister Michaela when the show begins. Ben, his son Cal, and Michaela opt to take a later flight to collect some bonus money while the others head home.  But somewhere along the way during the second flight a rough spot of turbulence hits and, while the plane lands safely, this group of passengers are not returning to a home that they recognize. Airport and government officials are shocked when the captain requests permission to land because five years ago this flight disappeared and everyone aboard it was presumed dead.

Now Ben, Cal and Michaela are returning home to a family that has aged five years, while they haven’t gotten any older. And the NSA and other government agencies can’t figure out how the plane disappeared in the past and reappeared in the future. What happened to this group of people and who knows the truth? That’s what MANIFEST is going to reveal.

The cast includes Melissa Roxburgh, Josh Dallas, Athena Karkanis, J.R. Ramirez, Luna Blaise, Jack Messina and Parveen Kaur. Jeff Rake, Robert Zemeckis and Jack Rapke serve as executive producers.

MANIFEST will air Mondays at 10:00 p.m. this fall on NBC (see NBC’s full fall schedule).
