Go Behind the Scenes of CBS’ New Fall Shows: GOD FRIENDED ME, MURPHY BROWN, MAGNUM P.I. and More

Six new shows are coming to CBS this fall (see the network’s full fall schedule) and after releasing full-length trailers for its comedy and drama shows, the network is giving fans a behind the scenes look at the new series.

In GOD FRIENDED ME, athiest Miles gets friended by “God” on Facebook, which leads him to a series of adventures where he tries to help people. SCANDAL’s Joe Morton plays Reverend Arthur Finer, who clearly believes in God and butts head with Miles as a result.

MURPHY BROWN is back — taking on the news in the era of “fake news”. As Candice Bergen explains in the video above, Murphy and the gang are back, launching a new show because they believe it’s their civic duty.

In HAPPY TOGETHER, a famous young musician (Cooper James) comes to live with Jake (his accountant) and his wife, Claire. Naturally, this ordinary — somewhat boring and settled — couple don’t know what to make of the fun, young, party-loving kid.

FBI is about a group of agents working in New York City. “The intensity is huge. This is going to be something that really blows you away,” Jeremy Sisto teases in the preview.

MAGNUM P.I. is a modern-day reboot of the classic series, this time starring Jay Hernandez in the titular character. After returning from Afghanistan, where he served as a soldier, Thomas Magnum becomes a private investigator.
