Netflix News: GLOW Season 2 Trailer, First Preview for THE GOOD COP & First Look at HOUSE OF CARDS Season 6

There’s a trifecta of Netflix news coming down the pipeline today — including a full-length promo for season 2 of GLOW, the first teaser for the Tony Danza/Josh Groban series THE GOOD COP and the first photos for the sixth and final season of HOUSE OF CARDS.

Season 2 of GLOW means more wrestling and more fame for the ladies of “Glow”, which is now starting to gain traction and results in real fame for the ladies. At least until their slot on the network is threatened — seemingly because Ruth didn’t want to play “casting couch” with a lecherous network executive. But these women are fighters and they won’t take their defeat lying down.

Netflix also announced the premiere of the new series THE GOOD COP, which will debut on September 21. “In THE GOOD COP, Tony Danza plays Tony Sr., a lovable yet not exactly honorable, former NYPD officer who never followed the rules. He lives with his son, Tony Jr., Josh Groban, a brilliant, straight-laced NYPD detective who makes a point of always following the rules while solving Brooklyn’s toughest cases. This “odd couple” become unofficial partners as Tony Sr. offers his overly-cautious son blunt, street-wise advice. Also joining the cast are Monica Barbaro, Isiah Whitlock, Jr and Bill Kottkamp.”

Finally, Netflix also released the first look at season 6 of HOUSE OF CARDS. After the dismissal of Kevin Spacey following sexual harassment allegations, Robin Wright is leading the cast for the final season of the show. Her character will serve as the President of the United States next season and she’s joined by Diane Lane and Greg Kinnear, as well as Cody Fern.
