At the CW Upfront presentation in May the network announced that the character of Batwoman would appear in the annual CW/DC shows crossover. Today The CW has confirmed that Ruby Rose has been cast as Batwoman for the December episodes. As previously announced, the series BATWOMAN is also in development for the 2019-2020 season.
