THE INNOCENTS is not your typical teenage love story. The new netflix series revolves around teens Harry and June, who run away from their respective families to be together. But soon an extraordinary discovery — that June is actually a shape-shifter — presents a host of problems for the pair. Enter a mysterious professor who claims that June is not alone. In fact, he says there are more people like her and he says that he can both cure June and reunite her with the mother that deserted her three years ago. Soon, however, new dangers present themselves and the pair get further and further away from their innocent dream to simply be together.
