Netflix is going all-in on the horror genre with THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE, a spooky new series based on Shirley Jackson’s iconic novel. In this modern reimaging, the series revolves around a group of siblings who all grew up in what would go on to become the most famous haunted house in the country: Hill House. Now grown, they come together again in the wake of a tragedy and they are forced to confront their past — which take the form of ghosts in their own minds and ghosts who haunt the hallways of Hill House. The show is described as “a complex family drama wrapped in a chilling horror story” and stars Michiel Huisman, Carla Gugino, Timothy Hutton, Elizabeth Reaser, Oliver Jackson-Cohen, Henry Thomas, Kate Siegel and Victoria Pedretti star, as well as Lulu Wilson, Mckenna Grace, Paxton Singleton, Violet McGraw and Julian Hilliard.
THE HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE will be available to stream on Netflix on October 12.
