The archangel Michael has taken over Dean Winchester’s body and is using him to bring about a new vision of the world when SUPERNATURAL begins its fourteenth season. In the first official preview for season 14, we see that Michael meets Anael, who seems uneasy about meeting the famed archangel. And we see that Michael seems eager to torture — something that his victims aren’t too happy about. Elsewhere in the preview, we can see that Mary is trying to convince Sam that they’ll find Dean, despite the fact that Michael has disappeared with Dean’s body and doesn’t seem eager to reunite with his host’s former loved ones.
In addition, Jack seems convinced that sacrificing Dean is something that may have to be done in order to stop Michael — a position that Sam and Castiel don’t seem to share. Finally, we can see that Hell politics will once against reappear as Sam declares that there will not be another King of Hell. With Crowley, Asmodeous and Lucifer gone, the younger Winchester doesn’t want to see another demon sit on the hellish throne.
SUPERNATURAL returns for an all new season on Thursday, October 11 on The CW.
