Jason Bull suffered a heart attack as the second season of BULL ended. While he had won a particularly difficult case — perhaps the most difficult of his career — he didn’t have time to revel in his victory before suffering the attack on the steps of the courthouse. As the third season begins we see that Bull is ready to get back at work at TAC.
Everyone is gearing up for Bull’s return to the office and it seems that his employees haven’t had any contact with him while he was away on medical leave. As Chunk sets up a treadmill in Bull’s office, he, Benny and Danny talk about how they think Bull will come back a changed man.
The next two clips from the premiere shows us TAC’s new case involving a dying mother. Later, Bull is addressing his employees about their case. Specifically, they’re defending an insurance company who is being sued by the dying mother for denying coverage of her liver transplant. It’s clear that the TAC employees aren’t exactly happy about their new client or this case and would have preferred to be acting for the dying mother instead. But, as Bull points out, this is a business and their current client has some deep pockets.
BULL returns for its third season on Monday, September 24 at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
