Are you all caught up on THE GOOD PLACE? The first two seasons of the show are on Netflix both in Canada and in the United States and you should race to binge them immediately. But if you don’t have time to do that before the third season premieres, NBC has put together a helpful recap of seasons 1 and 2 and you can watch it below.
Now that you’re all caught up, the first sneak peek from the season premiere — which is actually the first three minutes of the new season — is out and you can watch it here. We can’t tell you everything that’s going to happen in season 3, but we can tell you that this is a show that is constantly reinventing itself. Bringing the core group back to Earth changes a lot for the story. It allows for the introduction of new characters and new encounters, but everything you still loved about THE GOOD PLACE still exists. A big part of the beginning of the season is the reunion of our four core characters — Eleanor, Chidi, Tahani and Jason. We’re also going to learn what each and every one of them was up to during their first year after their near-death experiences (Jason, in particular, never fails to bring comedy to any situation). And Michael and Janet will not be taking a back seat to what’s happening, despite the fact that they’re not human. They’re going to become involved in the action in a new and exciting way.
Trust us, you don’t want to miss season 3 of THE GOOD PLACE, which premieres with a special one-hour episode on Thursday, September 27 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT before moving to its regular time slot at 8:30 p.m. on Thursdays on NBC.
