This week’s SUPERNATURAL ended with a bit of a cliffhanger — has Jack become the show’s new big bad? After banishing Lucifer and preventing him from returning from The Empty and taking possession of Nick again, Jack chose to torture Nick and burnt him to a crisp. Mary, who had concerns about Jack throughout the episode, lovingly told him that there was something wrong with him, but insisted that they would all help him. And then, horribly, he appeared to do something to Mary. In next week’s episode, the brothers seem wise to the fact that something is terribly wrong with Jack and that what Cas feared is true: he has no soul.
