With COVID-19 having thrown off filming for TV and movies, the Upfront season is looking very different this year. There’s no big presentations for advertisers and a lot of new pilots didn’t get a chance to finish filming. So it’s no surprise that the fall schedules are a bit light on new shows, particularly when everyone is unsure when filming will resume as normal. However, Fox has gone ahead and announced its fall 2020 schedule, which includes two shows (NEXT and FILTHY RICH) that were previously supposed to premiere at midseason this year and have now been pushed back. The network has also announced the renewal of its animation shows, such as THE SIMPSONS and FAMILY GUY, and it’s pickup of L.A.’S FINEST.
