Chris Colfer has a dream.
That dream — revealed in a recent interview with theTVaddict.com — was for the fictional TV boyfriend that creator Ryan Murphy promised he’d be getting when GLEE returns for its second season this Fall to be less attractive than him, because Lord knows he doesn’t want to be, as he put it, “the bad end of the couple.”
With that in mind, we humbly ask Colfer to refrain from shooting the messenger as we welcome the newest addition to the cast: Relative unknown Chord Overstreet, who according to the official FOX press release will join the ranks of McKinley High as Sam, a high school athlete who starts off as Finn’s protégé but becomes his competition. And according to us, will more than likely be the football playing boyfriend the actor better known as Kurt Hummel was promised.
