While it probably won’t come as much of a surprise that Detective Kate Beckett (Stana Katic) survived the unexpected bullet-to-the-chest in May’s jaw-dropper of a season finale, what certainly might is the sheer amount of photos that ABC has just released in an effort to promote CASTLE’s September 19th season premiere. No really. Complete with your first look at the precinct’s new uncompromising Captain Victoria “Iron” Gates (Penny Johnson Jerald), not to mention photo after photo after photo of furrowed brows and worried looks (Ryan and Esposito FTW! The return of Josh, err…. not so much), there is quite literally something for everyone. But hey, don’t take our word for it, see for yourself after the jump.
