Revenge is on the menu tonight on THE VAMPIRE DIARIES. Stefan (Paul Wesley) is juggling Caroline’s (Candice King) disapproval of Valerie (who spent the night at Stefan’s) and Lily’s attempt to properly introduce her sons to the love of her life, Julian.
Lily’s plan? Throw a soirée to introduce Julian (guest star Todd Lasance) to the remaining residents of Mystic Falls and hope that the dinner party will create an opportunity to call a truce between the Heretics and the rest of the town.
At the top of the guest list are Stefan and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) despite the fact they tried to help Valerie (guest star Elizabeth Blackmore) burn Julian’s body before his resurrection.
Even though the brothers have a difference of opinion about how to handle the situation, both attend the party where Stefan plans to kill Julian. Having found out that Julian caused Valerie to lose Stefan’s baby in 1863, the younger Salvatore is full of rage and ready to wreak havoc and exact his revenge (all while dressed up in a suit and deceptive smile).
Bonnie (Kat Graham) and Matt (Zach Roerig) also attend the party and stumble across a mystery that could affect others in the town. Meanwhile, Alaric (Matt Davis), having found out that the Phoenix Stone restored Jo’s (guest star Jodi Lyn O’Keefe) body with someone else’s soul is suffering from the traumatic situation.
THE VAMPIRE DIARIES also stars Michael Malarkey. Guest stars are Scarlett Byrne, Ethan Andrew Casto, Jaiden Kaine and Teressa Liane. Executive Producer, Caroline Dries, wrote tonight’s episode, “Best Served Cold,” which was directed by Darren Genet.
