We still don’t have a specific premiere date for the second season of OUTLANDER beyond April 2016, but Starz has released a new inside look at the upcoming season (see the first full-length preview of season 2 here).
Claire and Jamie were heading to France when we last saw the couple and were eager to look to their future (with a new baby) and leave their terrible past behind. Once in France, they’re eager on infiltrating the Jacobite rebellion, led by Prince Charles Stuart, in an attempt to change history. Jamie’s cousin Jared (a local wine merchant) helps the couple mingle in the lavish world of French society.
