Netflix recently made a prequel series to the cult film WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER that focused on the group’s first day at camp. Now the streaming series is producing a new series called WET HOT AMERICAN SUMMER: TEN YEARS LATER.
The series will include eight all-new 30-minute episodes and is set to premiere in 2017. It will be written by Michael Showalter and David Wain and Wain will direct. There’s word yet on all of the original cast members who will be returning.
