Olivia has been insistent that Cyrus was responsible for Vargas’ death on SCANDAL and while the White House initially pushed back on that accusation, it looks like Cyrus’ role will be made public soon enough.
In a clip from this week’s episode, David Rosen and the FBI director are giving a news conference and have announced that they are broadening the scope of the Vegars investigation. One of the reporters asks if they’re looking at Cyrus and while David doesn’t confirm him as a suspect specifically, the implication is there that he is a person nof interest. Abby, meanwhile, is very much against this plan and thinks that Olivia is playing Fitz and Cyrus isn’t guilty. In fact, she calls Cyrus to warn him about the impending crisis heading his way.
