NCIS: NEW ORLEANS Sneak Peek: The Parent Trap

November 14, 2017 By Melissa Smith Leave a Comment

Family…it comes in all shapes and all origins. NCIS: NEW ORLEANS is such a family.

Lasalle (Lucas Black) is closer to Pride (Scott Bakula) than he is to his own dad. Loretta’s foster sons, Danny (Christopher Meyer) and C.J. see Pride as the father they never had.

Pride, Lasalle, Loretta (CCH Pounder), Percy (Shalita Grant), Sebastian (Rob Kerkovich), Patton (Daryl “Chill” Mitchell) and Gregorio (Vanessa Ferlito) …all have become interwoven into the NCIS: NEW ORLEANS patchwork family that sticks together through good and bad times.

So, when Danny is home on leave from the Navy, it is not unusual that he would call Pride when there is trouble. What is unusual is that he has not told Loretta much about his new girlfriend, Emily (guest star Emily Kimball).

In fact, Danny neglects telling Loretta that he is home at all, leaving her to find that out after the trouble has started. When Danny is attacked at Emily’s house and NOPD determines that she is missing, it becomes clear to Loretta that her son is in love with a woman whom he barely knows.

But when Danny disappears, Loretta knows Dwayne will move mountains to rescue her son, regardless of the rules. Unfortunately for Dwayne, the NCIS director also knows that Pride can bend the rules and orders Dwayne to meet with a therapist, NCIS BSGT Dr. Amy Christo (guest star Nina Lisandrello) to discuss his process for solving cases.

Hopefully, the good doctor has a lot of patience. Is this all part of growing pains? Or is there something more devious involved?

Other guest stars on tonight’s NCIS: NEW ORLEANS, “Sins of the Father,” are Celia Keenan-Bolger, Austin Cauldwell, Jason Downs, Gabriel Rafael Rodriguez, Brian Distance, Lorenzo Yearby, Bill Martin Williams and Melissa Lehman. “Sins of the Father” was written by Paul Guyot and directed by James Whitmore Jr.

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS airs tonight (November 14) at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS in the U.S. and at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT on Global TV in Canada.
