May 11, 2018 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

Fox has been on a cancellation roll over the last few days, opting to axe several comedies, and now the network has decided not to renew LUCIFER.

The show, starring the dashing Tom Ellis as the titular Devil, was averaging a 0.8 demo rating and 3.3 million total weekly viewers through to the end of April (per Live+Same Day numbers). Ellis recently delivered the news via Twitter.

The series finale is set to air on May 14 on Fox.

It has been the most amazing experience over the past 3 years playing Lucifer and falling in love with you, the fans. It fills me with great sadness to confirm the rumours that some of you have been asking. Fox has indeed cancelled #lucifer I’m so sorry guys. #gutted
