I would have loved another season of Everwood. I was disappointed when they canceled the show. I would have loved to see Dr Brown and Nina get married and see where Amy and Efrem ended up together. Also Brite and Hannah might have ended up back together. I guess we will never know. lol

I detest cliffhangers. “To be continued” is okay if it’s just for time constraints and the cliffhanger is resolved in the next episode, but ending a season on a cliffhanger guarantees I will not watch another episode. If I really like the show, I will find an “alternate” means of watching it commercial free and no one but my internet provider will ever see a red cent from me.

In reply to Mary Helen Cook. I discovered this show over the last summer and it was amazing! I just rewatched it tonight and the way it was left, I think it needs to be finished. There’s no way that you can just leave it on a cliffhanger, so sharp as that one. It’s almost unfair in a way to have that good of a story just end abruptly. I bet literally everyone who has watched this show has been wanting it to come back and continue to watch it to see the ending of the story and how everything played out. All I’m saying is, it’s a crime to leave it how it is, it needs to be finished and if the only way to finish it is to make it a Netflix Original Series then you need to do it. It’s a story that’s too good to be true with beautiful romances, the mix of it all is just right to where it’s the perfect show for everyone no matter what they like. Plus, for the ladies, the hotness of all the guys in this show also help a bit with loving it to death.

I just started watching the movie Boy in the Attic. I thought that it was Jenny Garth, looked at information, it’s Abby Cobb. Did they know the other existed? This is a shocker, They are identical!!!!!

A lot of people have this pregnancy theory; and I, for one, hope they’re all wrong. How about, instead of giving Scully a new “miracle,” we simply refuse to rewrite all of the good parts about the last one…and maybe even fix the bad parts of that story by letting her have some kind of relationship with William instead?

It’s weird, though. I absolutely agree with you that this was otherwise a great episode. Even with the massive dialogue misstep, it just worked. Somewhere under all the nonsense, the same writing that made these characters icons still exists.

In reply to E.. "I'm tired of the teasing and the games" is exactly my thought process here. If there was any hope of the back-and-forth having any kind of developmental pay-off, I'd deal with it. But we're in the final stretch of episodes here, after being brought back from having supposedly ended years ago. We know better than to expect any forward movement or meaning at this point.

Scully’s lines about wondering if they’d see each other when they were done with The X-Files and not having a partner with which to have a child was a gut punch. REALLY? These two love each other and have for 25 years. They’re soul mates and this shouldn’t even be up for debate. I can see all the foreshadowing with the pregnancy/fertility talk that’s leading up to Scully finding out she’s pregnant again. But if Carter wanted to talk babies, there were better ways that conversation could’ve occurred without Scully talking about them with other people or as though their relationship at this point is only at work. Overall, though, I loved the episode and even more so on the second viewing. It was classic X-Files. I loved Mulder & Scully’s banter. And their chemistry was electric.

Well said! I agree with you about their relationship. It’s why I didn’t really like that part that well. It was a waste. I could kind of see what CC was trying to do, but frankly… it was so underwhelming. I’m tired of the teasing and the games.

Liked the rest of the episode for the most part though.
