The one thing about chillin’ by a sunny pool all afternoon is that you need a good magazine. Being in LA (the good ol’ USA), I’m big on trying things that I can’t do in Canada (ie. endlessly eating at T.G.I. Fridays, we don’t have it in Toronto! I’m pretty sure I’ve put on 50 lbs this week!). So in picking a magazine, I went with something I’ve never seen before – GIANT – an Entertainment, TV, MOVIES, GAMES etc magazine. The magazine ROCKS! Zach Braff is on the cover and there is a fantastic feature on my favorite comedy – SCRUBS! The feature includes a feature on Zach, a great pictorial on the rest of the cast, a fun interview with showrunner Bill Lawrence, and the magazine’s favourite episodes and guest stars. If you’re a fan of SCRUBS and love the Entertainment Weekly/Wired/Vanity Fairs of the magazine world – I highly recommend GIANT.

Uma/Oprah Uh-Ohh…
This year was not a good year for movies. Aside from a few highly entertaining movies (Batman Begins, Syriana, King Kong, Cinderella Man, War of the Worlds and Crash), I can’t remember a more dissappointing year for movies. That’s why I’m not really that excited for the OSCARS. In fact, the only reason I’ll be watching the self-congratulatory never-ending award show is for JON STEWART. He truly is the funniest man on TV (Stephen Colbert and Steve Carrell being a close second and third!). I should also mention that the only entertaining award shows involve alcohol – the Golden Globes and SAG awards.
While I could easily rip of TV GUIDE’s fantastic Q&A with him and pass it off as my own, I figured odds are that no one was going to buy the fact that thetvaddict.com, in it’s short one month history, has earned enough clout to interview Jon Stewart. Subsequently I’ve decided to take the high road and just say this:
