10:59PM: Whether you were a fan of the tonight’s winners or not (THE HANGOVER, Best Comedy, really?), can we at least all agree that television needs more Ricky Gervais?

10:57PM: James Cameron is yet again King of the World! AVATAR (or as Governor Schwarzenegger calls it “Auvahdar”) wins a the Golden Globe for Best Motion Picture Drama.

10:47PM: Jeff Bridges wins a Best Actor in a Motion Picture Drama Golden Globe for CRAZY HEART.

10:39PM: WOW! Robert Downey Jr. wins a Best Actor in a Comedy/Musical Motion Picture People’s Choice Award Golden Globe for SHERLOCK HOLMES. Seriously, did not see that coming.

10:38PM: Raise your hand if you remember the actress (Sally Hawkins) who presented the Golden Globe for Best Actor?

10:36PM: Sandra Bullock walks away with a Best Actress in a Motion Picture Drama Golden Globe for THE BLIND SIDE. Love her.

10:28PM: Were the Hollywood Foreign Press drunk? Seriously, how else to explain THE HANGOVER beating out 500 DAYS OF SUMMER for a Best Motion Picture Comedy Golden Globe.

10:19PM: Don’t Stop Believin!!! GLEE walks away a Golden Globe for Best TV Series Comedy!!! Says Ryan Murphy, “This is for anyone and anybody who ever got a wedgie in High School!”

9:10PM: Eleven minutes in and this TV Addict’s mind is already officially blown! The entire island went back to the future?! Holy Frak!

9:15PM: As the island goes, so to does Sawyer’s six pack. Awkward pause as I reflect on the fact that Sawyer has really let himself go!

9:21PM: Three quick questions to ponder over the commercial break. Is Lock in the same time period as the rest of the islanders? Is that Ethan who just pulled a gun on Locke? And on a far less serious note, did Canadian Geese just cause another plane crash?

9:28PM: Hurley to Sayid after he was kind enough to break him out of the mental institution, “Maybe if you eat more comfort food, you wouldn’t have to go around shooting people.”

8:00PM: You know this episode is going to be good when Dorata (Blair’s maid) gets the first laugh by offering up this bit of sound advice to one Blair Waldorf, “Don’t forget. God always watching Miss Blair.”

8:04PM: Meet Agnes. Hot Model/Bad influence for Jenny played by THE OC’s delightful Willa Holland. Awkward how even Mini-Cooper has become more successful and less of a Young Hollywood Cliche than Misha Barton.

8:08PM: Am I the only one who finds Eleanor Waldorf’s use of child labour [see: Jenny] a little off-putting? Quick, someone get Kathie Gifford on the phone!

8:14PM: OMG! Serena meets a new overly pretentious artist named Aaron. Signs he’s an overly pretentious artist by the way include shaggy hair, glasses and stubble. Fifty bucks he takes off those glasses by the end of the episode.

8:15PM: Someone’s going to have to explain to me why exactly Blair is taking dating advice from Dan “I’m the guy who broke up with Serena” Humphrey. Rule #1 of High School Dating. You never break up with your school’s Queen B, sorry, Queen S.

Comic Con Live Blog: TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES

11:40AM: The TERMINATOR: THE SARAH CONNOR CHRONICLES panel started off with a seriously fraktastic trailer for the new season. Spoiler Alert, Summer Glau’s Cameron is alive — and did we mention awesome.

But on a more serious note, we’re pretty sure that the Connor Family, with the help of Derek Reese will build some sort of time-traveling device that will allow them jump to different time periods in their fight against SkyNet.

11:42AM: Josh Friedman, who’s moderating the panel starts by thanking the fans for their support. You’re welcome Josh.

11:46AM: By audience demand, the first question of the panel goes to Summer Glau. Friedman who isn’t surprised, asks, “Who’s better looking, me or Joss Whedon?”

11:50AM: Lena Headey on what Sarah would do with a day off? “She’d get some over the counter valium and track down Agent Ellison and have a good night in.”

11:53AM: Josh Friedman to actor Richard T. Jones, “Agent Ellison you made a really bold decision with your character to play him black.” Hilarious.

Meet New 90210 Star Shenae Grimes

On Tuesday morning at 5:30AM your TV Addict left Toronto with a mission. Meet fellow Canadian and 90210 star Shenae Grimes and snag some pics with the cast of GOSSIP GIRL. Well, I’m happy to report — Mission Accomplished. In fact, it was almost too easy.

While the stars from established shows such as GOSSIP GIRL, AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL and ONE TREE HILL were otherwise occupied talking to reporters on the CW’s red green carpet, there they were. Unassumingly chatting it up in the middle of the tent at Lincoln Centre — television’s next ‘it’ cast — Shenae Grimes, Jessica Stroup, Dustin Milligan, Tristan Wilds and Michael Steger. So young and naive they didn’t even realize that they should actually be hanging out on the other side of the rope line.

My ‘reporter instincts’ quickly kicked in. I sensed I had about five minutes before the tent filled up with curious onlookers and the cast was quickly shepherded off to safety the ‘celebrity—only’ area. So in the same manner in which a Lion might approach an unsuspecting Gazelle that had separated from the pack, your TV Addict pounced!
