It’s a meeting almost an entire television season in the making: Jack and Lucifer will officially meet in the next episode of SUPERNATURAL. The last episode saw Lucifer crossing over into the alternate universe and resurrecting Sam (who had been killed by some vampires) so the younger Winchester would put in a good word for him with his son. And while Sam was incredibly torn over the entire situation, he and Lucifer walked into Mary and Jack’s camp for human refugees and Lucifer finally came face-to-face with his son.

But I’m sure you can imagine we won’t be getting a happy family (re)union. After all, this is Lucifer we’re talking about here, and Jack has spent the season distancing himself from his blood father. Plus, he’s gotten rather close to Mary and it’s clear that she is not happy to see Lucifer again in the preview below. Sam and Dean are also going to meet the alternate Bobby again, which makes this episode a big family reunion.

We’re getting close to the end of the season here, so there’s some big questions we hope SUPERNATURAL will answer for us over the next two weeks: will Jack let himself be influenced by his father and give in to evil? Will Sam and Dean try to insert themselves into the angelic-human war in the apocalypse world? Will they make it back to our world before the end of the season?

The Winchesters are gathering allies in an attempt to save Mary and Jack on SUPERNATURAL. We’ve seen that Rowena agreed to help them find Gabriel and in the last episode the archangel has decided to join in on the fight so that they can also prevent the alternate universe’s Michael from coming into their world.

In the next episode, titled “Beat the Devil”, Sam and Dean team up with Castiel and Gabriel to travel to the alternate universe to make another attempt at finding Mary and Jack. Meanwhile, from the looks of the preview below Rowena is paying the Winchesters a visit and she gets attached by Lucifer, who is now in the bunker. The CW warns that “Rowena’s encounter with Lucifer may alter the outcome of the journey for one of our heroes.” Does that mean someone won’t make it home from the alternate universe? We’re also getting very close to Lucifer finally meeting his son.

Sam and Dean weren’t able to recruit Rowena to help them find Gabriel in the last episode of SUPERNATURAL, but that may be moot soon enough. In fact, in the very next episode Gabriel asks the brothers for their help. He’s determined to get his revenge on the demigods who sold him to Asmodeus, but if the Winchesters help him will he agree to give them some of his grace so they can open another portal?

Speaking of portals, Jack has been busy in the alternate universe. In the preview below we see him determined to take a stand against Michael. Mary warns caution, but she and other allies there agree to help. Unfortunately, Jack’s inflating confident seems to be leading to a reckless decision that could hurt the very people he’s trying to protect. Also *spoiler alert* photos for the episode reveal that we’re going to see the alternate universe’s Kevin (a.k.a. the prophet) in the next episode!

SUPERNATURAL Sneak Peek: Trying to Get Through the Breach….Again

April 19, 2018 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

Dean came back empty-handed from the alternate universe in last week’s SUPERNATURAL. While he and Ketch had originally entered the apocalypse world to find Mary and Jack, they got distracted when they learned that the alternate universe’s version of Charlie was about to be executed for standing up to the angels. Wanting to save some version of Charlie, Dean and Ketch rescued her and then Ketch remained behind to help Charlie fight back against the angels.

Unfortunately, getting back to the original mission won’t be easy because the one ingredient they really need — an archangel’s grace — is no longer in their possession. And unless the Winchesters can find Gabriel again, they’re out of luck. But they’re not ready to give up quite yet, so in this week’s episode they call on Rowena to find the archangel. Unfortunately, she’s a little busy with her own side-mission (a deadly one, according to The CW) and so the brothers eventually set off to find and stop her. That puts them in the crosshairs of a reaper — one that is familiar to Dean. And apparently she has been spending some time around the brothers lately, watching them at Billie’s request. She’s also seen parts of their lives they had thought were private, including Sam’s extensive collection of haircare products and Dean’s disgusting food habits.

A new episode of SUPERNATURAL airs tonight (April 19) at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Sam and Dean will be meeting a new reaper in the next new episode of SUPERNATURAL. As it turns out, Death (a.k.a. Billie) has been keeping an eye on the Winchesters with the help of one of her reapers, who has been hanging around and spying on the brothers (seeing “everything”, according to her, which seems to weird out Sam and Dean). But the brothers are a bit too busy to deal with this new complication, because they have to figure out a way to stop Rowena who is, according to The CW, “on a deadly mission” (one that apparently involves ripping open Sam’s shirt and dealing with Death herself).

Elsewhere in the episode, Castiel heads to Heaven to recruit some angels for an impending invasion but is “shocked by not only what he finds, but who”.

SUPERNATURAL Sneak Peek: Can Sam and Castiel Save Gabriel?

April 12, 2018 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

SUPERNATURAL fans (and the Winchesters) believed that Gabriel the archangel (a.k.a. The Trickster) died back in season 5 of the series when he was killed by his brother, Lucifer. But as we learned this season, he’s actually been alive this whole time and has been tortured by the Prince of Hell Asmodeus for a long time.

Fortunately, he managed to escape Asmodeus (who was slowly siphoning off his grace to power himself up) thanks to some help from Ketch. But Gabriel’s mind is seemingly broken right now and Sam isn’t sure whether they can heal him enough so that he can be of help to them. In tonight’s episode, we’ll see that Cas has returned from the bunker and will likely be shocked to learn that Gabriel is alive. He’s even more shocked to see how far the once might archangel has fallen. Gabriel is spending his time hiding in one of the bedrooms, curled into a ball and doesn’t seem to recognize either Sam or Castiel. Sam is trying to get through to him, reminding him of the help that Gabriel had given them during the Apocalypse, but whether he can actually get through to the angel is anyone’s guess.

Related: See photos from this week’s SUPERNATURAL

Meanwhile, Dean and Ketch will have arrived in the alternate universe, but will they manage to find Mary and Jack and return back to their own world before the breach closes in 24 hours? We’ll have to wait and see.

SUPERNATURAL airs tonight (April 12) at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Dean and Sam found all of the ingredients they needed to open up a portal to the Apocalypse World where Mary and Jack are trapped in the last episode of SUPERNATURAL. By the end of the episode Dean opted to jump into the portal with Ketch, leaving Sam behind to guard over Gabriel (who is now with them after Ketch liberated him from Asmodeus’ captivity) and leaving Sam behind to rescue him if he didn’t make it back to their world before the portal closed in 24 hours.

But finding Mary and Jack won’t be easy for Dean and Ketch. From the looks of the preview below, they’re going to come across a lot of obstacles and we’re not sure if another trip to the Apocalypse World will be in order before they can find Mary and Jack.

Meanwhile, back in the bunker, Cas arrives and is likely surprised to find Dean gone and Gabriel alive. Based on the photos in the slideshow above, we can see that Gabriel is clearly still reeling from his time as a prisoner and it looks like Sam and Cas will try to figure out how he’s alive and help him heal.

Finally, in Heaven, Lucifer is finding that his plans for the realm aren’t going as well as he hoped, but it’s Jo who is the most exasperated. Will she turn her back on her ally?

Don’t miss an all new episode of SUPERNATURAL on April 12 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
