STAR-CROSSED Post-Mortem: EPs Meredith Averill and Adele Lim Talk What’s Next for Roman and Julia (feat. Exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Photos!)

February 18, 2014 By Tiffany Vogt Leave a Comment

star-crossed matt lanter aimee teegarden

Last night was the premiere of the CW alien drama series STAR-CROSSED and it set up some wonderful storylines as the humans and Atrians began to take tentative steps towards integration and getting to know their fellow planet-mates. The sweeping romance of Roman (Matt Lanter) and Emery (Aimee Teegarden) is but one of the storylines being explored. Another storyline to be explored is now that Roman has healed Julia (Malese Jow), how will that effect them?

So if you watched the premiere of STAR-CROSSED, then these are likely to be a few of the burning questions on your mind that I got to pose to executive producers Meredith Averill and Adele Lim: [Read more…]

Find Out Which Half of Their Schedule The CW Gave An Early Vote of Confidence To!

the originals cast

Good News: The CW has just announced that freshman dramas THE ORIGINALS and REIGN have been picked up for a second season alongside veteran fan favorites SUPERNATURAL, THE VAMPIRE DIARIES and ARROW. Not-So-Good-News: Fans of BEAUTY AND THE BEAST, HART OF DIXIE, THE CARRIE DIARIES and THE TOMORROW PEOPLE will more than likely have to remain in suspense as to the fate of their favorites until the Network’s annual UpFront in May.

Said CW President Mark Pedowitz in a statement, “This season we’ve had great success with our new hit series The Originals paired with Supernatural, giving us our best Tuesday nights in years. The Vampire Diaries is #2 in its time period in the young adult demos, and with Arrow continuing to gain among young men, and Reign growing its time period, we now have strong nights on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. I’m very pleased to announce early pickups for all five series, and let our fans know they’ll have more great drama to look forward to next season.”
