• Proof postive that there are only so many times one can laugh at a joke at OJ Simpson’s expense, Kevin Eubanks — after 18 years on the job — has announced he’ll step down from his post as TONIGHT SHOW bandleader sometime after the show resumes in March.

• Let the promotional blitz begin, with yet another look at the return of GLEE.

This Just In: The CW Removes Much of the Suspense Out of Their May Up Front…
… Not to mention, the fun out of tomorrow’s post that had us irresponsibly speculating on which of your favorite CW shows will be coming back next season by officially awarding early season pick-ups to THE VAMPIRE DIARIES, GOSSIP GIRL, 90210, SUPERNATURAL and AMERICA’s NEXT TOP MODEL.
Meanwhile, SMALLVILLE, LIFE UNEXPECTED, ONE TREE HILL and MELROSE PLACE fans (or in the case of MELROSE PLACE, ‘fan,’ singular), should probably keep in mind that a lack of an early pick-up doesn’t necessarily mean your show is canceled. Rather, the CW simply needs more time to analyze the numbers or make those numbers work. But just to be on the safe side, we recommend kicking those fan campaigns into high gear in 3… 2… 1…

Free For A Limited Time Only: The TV Addict Week in Review
Inspired by Movieline and in anticipation of the soon-to-be-released Apple iPad that will more than likely signal the beginning of the end for traditional print media, this TV Addict thought it might be fun to start highlighting a look back on the week in television that was in nostalgic magazine form (And yes, we realize we may have a just little too much free time on our hands!)
This week on theTVaddict.com crafted an open letter the Networks, took you inside SUPERNATURAL’s 100th episode party, offered up our take on how NBC might wish to promote PARENTHOOD, caught up with GLEE’s Dianna Agron, interviewed J.J. Abrams, politely suggested, that it might benefit Kristen Bell’s career to return to TV, and revealed how we’d fix HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER.

First Look: THE SIMPSONS are Coming to Canada (Again!)
Proving that HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER isn’t the only show on television that can generate big laughs at their neighbors to north’s expense, THE SIMPSONS are returning to Canada. In fact — almost five years to the day from their last visit that saw Homer and Grandpa trek up to Winnipeg Manitoba in search of affordable prescription drugs — Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa, Maggie and special guest-voice Bob Costas are heading to Vancouver (Which for the geographically challenged, is the city on Canada’s left coast that doubles as America in many of your favorite shows such as SMALLVILLE, SUPERNATURAL and EUREKA) in order to compete in the 2010 Olympics Vancouver Games.
