Fox Halloween Teasers: BONES-SLEEPY HOLLOW Crossover, SCREAM QUEENS and More

October 5, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

bones

Fox is serving up some scares and special episodes in October, with Halloween episodes of SCREAM QUEENS, the Sunday Animation Domination line-up and a special crossover of BONES and SLEEPY HOLLOW. Read on for teasers from the holiday-themed episodes to come this month.

SCREAM QUEENS (Tuesday, Oct. 6 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Haunted House”
As Halloween approaches, Chanel (Emma Roberts) creates a devious plan after Zayday (Keke Palmer) makes a shocking announcement. Meanwhile Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Pete (Diego Boneta) pay a visit to a mysterious woman with ties to Kappa’s past. Also, Hester (Lea Michele) grows closer to Chad (Glen Powell), Denise (Niecy Nash) continues her search for the red devil killer and Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) does everything in her power to keep Wallace University open.

SCREAM QUEENS (Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Pumpkin Patch”
With Halloween just days away, Dean Munsch (Jamie Lee Curtis) makes an announcement affecting the campus and, specifically, Chanel’s (Emma Roberts) plan to throw a pumpkin patch party in support of her Kappa Kappa Tau presidential campaign. Meanwhile, Grace (Skyler Samuels) and Pete (Diego Boneta) lead a search party for a missing friend, which steers them closer to the Red Devil than ever before, and Chanel #3 (Billie Lourd) and #5 (Abigail Breslin) learn what life would be like without Chanel.

THE SIMPSONS (Sunday, Oct. 18 at 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) – “Halloween of Horror”
When Lisa (Yeardley Smith) becomes scared at the Krustyland Halloween Horror Night, Homer (Dan Castellaneta) is forced to take down his Everscream Terrors decorations. Halloween pop-up employees seek vengeance on Homer for causing them to lose their jobs, and rob his house while Homer and Lisa hide out in the attic. Homer and Lisa light up their stored holiday decorations to attract attention and stand up to the intruders. Nick Kroll and Blake Anderson make guest-voice appearances.

BOB’S BURGERS (Sunday, Oct. 18 at 9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) – “Hauntening”
Airing at a special time, the Belchers are ready for an amazing Halloween! Louise (Kristen Schaal) reveals that she has never been scared before and the family sets out to visit a spooky haunted house. When trouble ensues following their visit, the Belchers find themselves in a whacky situation more frightening than they bargained for!

THE SIMPSONS (Sunday, Oct. 25 at 8:00-8:30 PM ET/PT) – “Treehouse of Horror XXVI”
On the annual fright fest Halloween episode, Sideshow Bob (Kelsey Grammer) finally kills Bart (Nancy Cartwright), only to reanimate him; Homer (Dan Castellaneta) wakes up with short-term memory loss; and Lisa (Yeardley Smith), Bart, and Milhouse (Pamela Hayden) get super powers from radiation.

BROOKLYN NINE-NINE (Sunday, Oct. 25 at 8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “Halloween III”
The third installment of Captain Holt (Andre Braugher) and Jake’s (Andy Samberg) Halloween heist culminates with a tiebreaking competition to claim the title of “amazing detective slash genius.” This year, Jake and Holt draft the squad into two teams to help them win.

FAMILY GUY (Sunday, Oct. 25 at 9:00-9:30 PM ET/PT) – “Peternormal Activity”
The guys go to an abandoned asylum seeking inspiration for a new horror movie idea, but end up accidentally killing a man they think is keeping them hostage. Wracked with guilt, they each try to pin the murder on someone else. Meanwhile, Stewie (Seth MacFarlane) is on a mission to destroy Brian’s (MacFarlane) glasses because he’s annoyed by how pretentious Brian’s been acting when he wears them.

BONES (Thursday, Oct. 29 at 8:00-9:00 PM ET/PT) – “The Resurrection in the Remains”
It’s Halloween time at The Jeffersonian as the team gets a surprise visit from newly minted FBI Agent Abbie Mills (guest star Nicole Beharie) and Ichabod Crane (guest star Tom Mison), who have traveled from Sleepy Hollow to claim a headless body already under investigation by Brennan and her team. The new foursome must figure out how to work together to discover who the 200-year-old headless corpse is, and how it is linked to a contemporary murder victim. Meanwhile, Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) come up with the ultimate Halloween pranks to play on each other.

SLEEPY HOLLOW (Thursday, Oct. 29 at 9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT) – “Dead Men Tell No Tales”
With Brennan and Booth in tow, Abbie and Crane set out to prove that supernatural forces are at play when a mysterious death plagues the FBI. As Pandora (Shannyn Sossamon) unleashes a force to awaken the dangerous Red Coat General Howe (guest star Nicholas Guest), both teams must find a way to save the town from the British Army of the Undead. Can the power of Booth and Brennan combined with Abbie and Crane be enough to stop Pandora’s evil forces?

PREACHER Picked Up To Series By AMC Network

September 9, 2015 By Jessenika Colon Leave a Comment

COfBBvaWsAArpz8

Seth Rogen announced today on Twitter that AMC has ordered PREACHER to series. “Preacher is coming to AMC,” he tweeted along with what appeared to be key art for the show, featured above. AMC has confirmed the 10 episode order and key art, with the launch of the series scheduled for mid 2016 with a possible May debut.

Preacher, from Rogen, Evan Goldberg, Sony TV, and AMC Studios is based on Garth Ennis and Steve Dillion’s 1990 comic about Jesse Custer (Dominic Cooper), a conflicted Preacher in a small Texas town who’s inhabited by a mysterious entity that allows him to develop a highly unconventional power. Along with his ex-girlfriend, Tulip (Ruth Negga), and an Irish vampire named Cassidy (Joseph Gilgun), the three embark on a journey to literally find God. Co-starring are Ian Colletti as Eugene Root aka Arseface, W. Earl Brown as Hugo Root, and Emily Griffiths as Emily.

“Garth Ennis’ Preacher is, above all, about great characters – something we look for in all of our series,” said Joel Stillerman, president of original programming and development for AMC and SundanceTV. “The fact that it is also darkly funny, has some great supernatural elements, and takes on an incredible adventure is just the icing on the cake.” Before AMC ordered PREACHER to series, Rogen and Goldberg had been looking to get the adaptation off the ground for seven years. “This is the craziest thing ever and we can’t wait to move forward and work our asses off to make this the best it can be,” said Rogen and Goldberg.
