If you’re anything like this TV Addict, odds are fairly good that you’re already fed up with the media’s love affair with everything TWILIGHT (Also known as the most inexplicably overrated piece of pop culture to hit the entertainment landscape since the Jonas Bros). Which is why, theTVaddict.com just wanted to take this opportunity to outline our TWILIGHT policy: Simply put, we’ll have none of it. So if you’re looking for Taylor Lautner’s reaction to meeting a mother-daughter-duo with “Team Taylor” panties, an in-depth analysis of Stewart’s ‘New Moon’ red carpet style from last night’s premiere, or a play-by-play of Stephenie Meyer’s appearance on OPRAH, may we suggest checking out Twilight Weekly (our entertainment bible formerly known as Entertainment Weekly) or virtually every other media outlet on the internet.

Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Lessons Learned from Last Night’s GOSSIP GIRL
The third person is always supposed to be a stranger.
The aftermath of GOSSIP GIRL’s much-buzzed-about threesome continued to pay unexpected dividends last night by quite frankly managing to do the unthinkable. Not only do we find ourselves in the somewhat embarrassing position of pining for the return of Hilary Duff (So much so that we’re hoping Olivia was serious and makes good on her promise to return in the fall), said ménage à trois managed to transform Dan and Vanessa — two of GOSSIP GIRL’s most notoriously uninteresting characters — into watchable ones. With bonus points for making the Parent’s Television Council look stupid by cleverly ensuring that last night’s flashback laden episode was far more revealing, shocking and scandalous than the PTC targeted episode prior.
A little Chuck Bass goes a long way.
Leave it to Ed Westwick to make the most of what little he was given on last night’s episode. Seriously, what Chuck Bass lacked in screen time, he more than made up for with his pitch-perfect line delivery (“Dude, I’m Chuck Bass. Even Europeans must know what that means.”) to the foreign ambassador’s son played by special guest star Kevin Zegers.

First Look: UGLY BETTY Goes to the Bahamas
Wondering why Marc and Amanda look as though they’ve seen a ghost? Well, they just may have. Either that or they just got the news that they’ve scored an all-expenses paid trip to the Bahamas (Complete with cameos by Shakira and Christie Brinkley) when the gang from Mode Magazine heads south for their December 4th episode of UGLY BETTY. First look photos of which (including a few very spoilerific ones) can be found after the jump.
Exclusive: GLEE to be Paired with AMERICAN IDOL in 2010
Cory Monteith and the TV Addict, Toronto, November 2009
Good News: In our exclusive one-on-one with GLEE star and fellow Canadian Cory Montieth, the actor talked candidly about how his life has changed since GLEE catapulted him to world-wide fame and what to expect from the final string of episodes prior to the show’s holiday hiatus. Bad News: You’ll have to wait until Wednesday for the interview in its entirety. And until then, settle for this good (albeit slightly obvious) news. According to Monteith, it’s official: GLEE is being paired up with the powerhouse that is AMERICAN IDOL when the show returns in 2010. Pass it on.

5 Things You Didn’t Know About THE BIG BANG THEORY Star Johnny Galecki
He really likes his co-workers.
Having acted his entire life, actor Johnny Galecki knows a thing or two about faking it. So when it comes to pretending he knows the difference between an Elf and Lich King in the world that is Warcraft… no problem! The ability to solve complex theorems in a single bound… just say the word! Fake a friendship with three nerds and a really hot next-door neighbour… err… easier said than done! Which is partially why Galecki attributes the success of THE BIG BANG THEORY to one of the most integral ingredients to any hit television show: Genuine chemistry. “A priceless part of the show, or anything really — be it office work or whatever — is the people you’re surrounded by,” explained Galecki. “And we, all of us, just happen to be very lucky that we’re surrounded by people we adore. You can’t fake that.”
He trusts the writers.
Just how nervous was Galecki upon discovering that show runners Bill Prady and Chuck Lorre were going to take Leonard and Penny where no couple on THE BIG BANG THEORY has gone before. “Knowing that that kind of romantic dynamic has been done before and done really really well, the scenes between Penny and Leonard were always looked at very carefully and rehearsed the most cautiously and stringently,” revealed the actor. “But the good thing is that Leonard and Penny aren’t together because viewership is dwindling, it’s being done for creative reasons and I trust the writers to handle the relationship with care.”
