Post Your Favorite TV Quotes of the Week
It’s Friday and if you’re a frequent visitor to theTVaddict.com — you know what that means! Time to post your FAVORITE TV QUOTES OF THE WEEK! New to theTVaddict.com? No idea what I’m talking about? Simply post your favorite quotes of the week in the comments below and check back Sunday to see the winners. Odds are they’ll look something like this.
The Questions LOST MUST Answer Sunday Night!
At this point, so many questions have sprung up around that time-hoppin’, guardian-needin’, monster-makin’ island that the only thing we know for certain is that LOST will never be able to answer them all on Sunday night.
And we’re okay with that. Or at least trying to be.
You Be the Critic: GREY’S ANATOMY, BONES, FRINGE, COMMUNITY, PARKS AND RECREATION, THE OFFICE and 30 ROCK
“Death, destruction, and jaw-dropping cliffhangers… Oh, what a night of season finales!” Or at least that’s what we would be saying had real life not gotten in the way. Which is why we’re yet again turning it over to you — our far smarter and better looking readers — to post away with your spoiler free take on last night’s GREY’S ANATOMY, BONES, FRINGE, COMMUNITY, PARKS AND RECREATION, THE OFFICE and 30 ROCK. Did they live up to the hype?
Your TV Tech Fix: Did Sprint Kill HEROES?
As you may have heard, HEROES won’t be coming back for another season. Whether you care or not is another question all together, but don’t worry if you didn’t. My man Daniel, theTVAddict himself, had given up hope on HEROES long ago. Me? I’ll agree it wasn’t able to repeat its spectacular first season, but I stilled gleaned enough entertainment value from the super-powered band of emotionally crippled mutants to overlook the show’s low points. You know, things like the absurd story twists, bizarre characters, and often ridiculous ‘powers’ like Peter Petrelli’s “power of plot convenience” and Claire’s “power to yammer endlessly” about how she wants to be “normal.” That was her power, right?
Dear MODERN FAMILY’s Steve Levitan: We’re on to you!
First you craft an episode of MODERN FAMILY that sees Phil Dunphy get an iPad — the most sought after device since Apple’s reinvention of the phone — weeks before the rest of us. Next, you concoct a surprise all-expenses paid trip courtesy of the fine folks at ABC trip to Hawaii for the Dunphy-Pritchett clan. And finally, you wrap up the season with a night out at the Lakers game complete with a cameo appearance by Kobe Bryant.
Look, we understand it’s a tough ‘job’ and somebody’s got to do it. But what’s next? A special appearance by Gloria’s (Sofia Vergara) thus far unforseen sister played by none other than Salma Hayek!

Exclusive: FRINGE Executive Producer Akiva Goldsman Teases Tonight’s FRINGE Season Finale
Still buzzing from last week’s penultimate episode of FRINGE? Well, as luck would have it, you ain’t seen nothing yet. As evidence from our conversation with FRINGE executive producer Akiva Goldsman, who was kind enough during our recent set visit to take some time from directing the much-anticipated Bell/Bishop tete-a-tete to talk about tonight’s episode and beyond.
Would this two-part season finale have been possible without a third season pick-up?
Akiva Goldsman: As we laid down the story and really saw what it would take to make tonight’s episode, we had to sort of promise that we would use some of the things that we were constructing, which was sort of our idea for this object, into the next season. Which was sort of vaguely bold because we constructed the finale before we had an official third season pick up. Had there not been a third season we definitely would have had to have an eleventh hour re-write.
Today’s TV Addict Top 5: Odd Casting Items
Vanessa Williams joins DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES
Why? Given the performance she gave on UGLY BETTY, Williams should be anchoring her own series, not joining yet another ensemble, let alone on a show that lost its creative mojo several seasons ago.
Elisha Cuthbert, HAPPY ENDINGS
Really? You’re casting a woman millions of people despised so much on 24 that they wanted her alter ego to meet a grisly fate as a woman people would fight to stay friends with after she and her significant other break up? Yeah, good luck with that.
