Ask the Addict: Spoilers for PRIVATE PRACTICE, THE MIDDLE, 30 ROCK & More!

Is there any hope for Addison and Sam on PRIVATE PRACTICE? — Lesley
The TV Addict: Oh, there’s always hope,! Unfortunately Addison and Sam’s not-so-direct-flight to “happily-ever-after-ville” will be hitting some serious turbulence this May 15th at 10PM thanks to the arrival of a mysterious admirer [Benjamin Bratt] who offers Addison an offer she can’t, but probably should, refuse.

Any word on how DESEPERATE HOUSEWIVES plans to end the season? — Jenn
The TV Addict: In typical Wisteria Lane fashion, DESPERATE HOUSEWIVES will be kicking off May Sweeps with a bang. Or to be more specific, an arrest of one on your favorite Wisteria wives. What’s more, Sunday’s episode which we recently had the opportunity to screen will also include the arrival of a prowler on the lane and some serious marital strife for one of the show’s most stable couples.

Will fans of BROTHERS & SISTERS be content with the upcoming season/series finale? — Madison
The TV Addict: Assuming you’re armed with an ample supply of Kleenex, by all accounts, the May 8 finale appropriately titled “Walker Down the Aisle” that sees Luc and Sarah exchange their “I Do’s” will leave loyal fans sufficiently satisfied should it end up being BROTHERS & SISTERS’s swan song.

On a recent episode of THE MIDDLE I couldn’t help but notice a hint at a romance brewing between Sue and the eldest Glossner boy. Am I crazy? — Amber
The TV Addict: Not in the least! In fact, we recently had the chance to pose that precise question to Sue’s portrayer Eden Sher, who had this to say on the matter, “If they told me anything I would be the first to divulge any and all information to you, so I have no idea what they have planned in season 3. That would be amazing though, I have strong feelings for Sue as a real life person and I feel like she needs some sort of crush action going on… well reciprocated crush action.”

Despite the fact millions of Americans who tune into CBS’ procedural heavy lineup each and every week, you all but ignore them. What do you have to say for yourself? — Bill
The TV Addict: Not much! Except that we hope to make it up to you with the barrage of teases courtesy of a just released CBS press release touting a whole slew of CBS season finales. Ready? 3… 2… 1… GO! On Sunday May 8 CSI: MIAMI will end their season by leaving two CSI’s in life-threatening peril. On Thursday May 12, CSI: ORIGINAL RECIPE will end the season with Langston being drawn into a final showdown with serial killer Nate Haskell. On Friday May 13th Mac will survive a near death experience. BLUE BLOODS will end its freshman year on May 13th with Tom Sellick taking matters into his own hands to avenge his son Joe’s death. On May 16th McGarrett will come face to face with his arch nemesis Wo Fat. On Tuesday May 17th the lives of the NCIS team are jeopardized when they confront the infamous Port-to-Port killer followed by NCIS: LOS ANGELES which will see Callen and the NCIS team investigate Hetty’s disappearance. Got that?

Any guesses as to whose funeral the cast of GLEE will be attending? — Francie
The TV Addict: Rumor has it funeral has something to do with the death of coherent storytelling! Just kidding. Actually, according to star Matthew Morrison it’s an actual person. “Somebody’s dying. Obviously I’m not going to tell you who it is, but it is no-one you would probably expect. The episode right before the finale is called ‘Funeral’. We were actually recently at a funeral home shooting all day. It was a very taxing day.”

According to reports the season finale of HOW I MET YOUR MOTHER has Ted meeting his future wife. What are the odds we’ll meet her? — Mark
The TV Addict: Put it this way, if Ted actually comes face-to-face with the titular mother in the upcoming sixth season finale it will be the best kept secret since the ending to LOST. Seriously, we find it hard to believe that creators Carter Bays and Craig Thomas could cast such a pivotal role without any of the media getting wind of it. That said, to give you an idea as to just how pivotal the May 12 finale is in terms of “Mother” mythology, you probably should know that Rajit (Marshall Manesh) is signed on to appear… along with Chi McBride (Rod), Dave Foley (Mr. Bloom), Bob Odenkirk (Arthur), Jennifef Morrison (Zoey), and Nazanin Boniadi (Nora).

With so many season finales coming up, is there one in particularly you’re looking forward to most? — Amy
The TV Addict: WOW, where to begin. While we’re certainly curious as to how high the body count will be on what promises to be a bloody THE VAMPIRE DIARIES season ender, and of course if BONES creator Hart Hanson will live up to the episode title that is “The Change in the Game,” we’ve recently come across something so outlandish, so unbelievable, and so borderline offensive that we can’t wait to see how it plays out. That something: Margaret Cho guesting on the 30 ROCK season finale as Kim Jon-Il!
