You don’t have to be a genius working at one of the top computer companies in the country to see how awesome SILICON VALLEY is. The new HBO comedy debuted last week and has received great reviews, and for good reason. The nerd fueled comedy centers around Richard’s (Thomas Middleditch) web design for a program called “Pied Piper” Richard was offered millions for this design but opted for the deal that offered him creative control over his company. The problem is Richard has no clue how to run his company, the only thing he does know is who he wants working on it, his friends. Richard’s team includes Erlich, (T.J. Miller) Gilfoyle, (Martin Starr) Dinesh, (Kumail Nanjiani) Big Head, (Josh Brener) and Jared. (Zach Woods) [Read more…]

THE ORIGINALS Scoop: Danielle Campbell Talks the Continuing Tug-of-War For Davina’s Power
From the beginning of the series, THE ORIGINALS was about a brewing conflict between the vampires and witches — and now the werewolves. But the one pivotal piece on the chess board turned out to be a young teen witch, who has been inadvertently bestowed with all the power of all the ancestor witches of New Orleans. All that power proved too much for one young witch, and subsequently lead to her death. But as fortune smiled upon her, Davina was resurrected and is yet again the most desirable piece in the supernatural war.
In an exclusive interview, star Danielle Campbell talked about Davina’s struggles and her motivations as she tries to fit into a world of witches, werewolves and vampires — each who would love to manipulate her and use her incredible power. [Read more…]

We Shine the Spotlight on MOM Star Blake Garrett Rosenthal
Very few actors in Hollywood can hold their own on screen with the likes of Allison Janney and Anna Faris, but young actor Blake Garrett Rosenthal makes it look effortless. Portraying Roscoe, the younger son of Faris’ character Christy, Blake gets all the best lines. His character Roscoe is a child beyond his years that seems to innately know that he is years ahead of his mom and even his grandmother in maturity and wisdom. THE MENTALIST Recap: “Silver Wings of Times”
We begin with the exciting image of a man setting his watch. When he moves his arms, we see there’s a television that has the TV news on with “COUNTDOWN TO CRUZ EXECUTION” as the bottom banner. As we pull back farther, we can see the watch setter is in a hotel room. He walks over to a mirror, where he puts on a toupee that should fool NOBODY and tries on some dark sunglasses for a moment before removing them. I’m thinking someone is going for a disguise…
He pulls out a leather briefcase in which he puts what looks like a folded-up blanket. Then he picks up some kind of electronic device that he turns on for a moment. It has glowing digital numbers on it, and that’s never a good sign, is it?

Then he sets his bag on the ground, opens it, and hits a button on his little electronic device. It starts at 1:30 and begins to count down. Rut roh. [Read more…]
