Following the announcement of The CW’s midseason schedule, the network has released a new extended preview of DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW. The characters that we are unfamiliar with for the show will be introduced in the upcoming ARROW/THE FLASH crossover, set to air in early December (watch a preview).
Here’s what you need to know about the show: Rip Hunter is a time-traveling rogue who assembles a group of heroes and villains to battle an immortal named Vandal Savage who is looking to basically take over the world (and actually succeeds in the future). Rip’s new group consists of The Atom/Ray Palmer (ARROW), White Canary/Sara Lance (ARROW), Heat Wave and Captain Cold (THE FLASH), Firestorm (THE FLASH), and Hawkman and Hawkgirl (ARROW/THE FLASH crossover)
The group boards their wicked-awesome ship to travel through time and fight Savage and his minions in different time periods. But in addition to Savage, another problem soon emerges: the group is messing with the timeline, thereby threatening the future as well.
LEGENDS OF TOMORROW will premiere on January 21 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
