Naughty and nice abound this week on NCIS: LOS ANGELES where Santa is not the only one delivering surprises. Someone naughty is smuggling spies into the country and probably not by sleigh.
When a suspected North Korean spy is poisoned and hit by a Christmas tree truck, the team goes on the search for more than the perfect holiday gift. They must find out who is responsible for espionage on American soil.
While working the case, evidence leads Kensi (Daniela Ruah) and Deeks (Eric Christian Olsen) to a house full of toy robots. A potential natural gas explosion interrupts their investigation, and they realize that witnesses are lying.
The investigation takes Callen (Chris O’Donnell) and Sam (LL Cool J) to a motel where they spot what seems to be a body…except the “body” wakes up and vomits Christmas cheer all over Sam’s boots.
In the spirit of the holidays, Callen has “car antlers” and a red nose to decorate Sam’s Challenger, and Marty flies through the air dressed like Santa to apprehend a suspect.
Kensi tells Deeks about the perfect gift, and they decide how best to include their mothers in their Christmas plans. Sam’s son, Aiden (Tye White) is also home for the holidays.
Beale (Barrett Foa) and Nell (Renée Felice Smith) work to get the NCIS: LOS ANGELES team into the holiday spirit, while Hetty (Linda Hunt) tries to keep Granger (Miguel Ferrer) from having a blue Christmas.
Also in for a disappointing holiday…Callen’s girlfriend, Joelle (Elizabeth Bogush). Either Callen is joking when he tells Sam that he and Joelle have decided to make donations to charity as their Christmas gift, or he is totally clueless when it comes to romance.
Attention fellas…never make that mistake. You, too, could be like Granger and end up target shooting alone. Women’s favorite lumps of coal are those that have formed into diamonds.
Guests stars on NCIS: LOS ANGELES this week are Lenny Jacobson, THE FLASH’s Malese Jow, Nicole Dalton, Walter Wong, David An, Erica Lynn and Christine Bently. Tonight’s episode, “Cancel Christmas” was written by Joseph C. Wilson and directed by Paul A. Kaufman.
Tonight’s winter finale of NCIS: LOS ANGELES airs at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT on CBS.
