On Friday, November 16, 2018, the cast and crew of SUPERNATURAL accomplished something that few shows ever do — they reached 300 episodes. Specifically, they celebrated the milestone (which will technically be accomplished in early December when the filming actually takes place). And with this milestone came two events: the first was a dedication at the Canadian Motion Picture Park (the studio where SUPERNATURAL films) of the production building as “The Supernatural Stages”.
The second event, taking place later that night, was a gala event that also included a red carpet. Our coverage of the carpet will come in due course, but we share below photos courtesy of Warner Bros. TV publicity of the celebration. Stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles were joined by other series regulars, including Alexander Calvert, Misha Collins and Mark Pellegrino, as well as current and former recurring guest stars (Danneel Ackles, Genevieve Padalecki, Samantha Smith, Ruth O’Connell and Richard Speight Jr.), on the red carpet. Executive producers Robert Singer, Phil Sgriccia, Eugenie Ross-Lemming and Brad Buckner also gave interviews to the press on the carpet before the whole group headed over to the party itself.
The party featured an appearance by the SUPERNATURAL band “The Imapalas”, led by Executive Producer Robert Singer. And while Jared Padalecki only pretended to play the saxophone on stage, Jensen Ackles did take to the mic to sing a few songs.
The party also featured a special cake made in honor of the event. At 30 inches tall at its highest point and weighing in at 220lbs, the cake was created by Jeffry Kahle, Executive Pastry Chef, The Fairmont Pacific Rim.
