Natalie experienced a bombshell at the end of the last episode of GUILT when she was told that Prince Theo was the person who actually killed Molly. But can his guilt be exposed? In this week’s episode, Natalie goes to Bruno for help after developing her own theory about Prince Theo. But little does she know, he’s been covering up the Prince’s tracks all this time. And Theo is experiencing problems inside the palace now that Charlotte has figured out his lies about Molly. But that may be the least of his problems once Patrick discovers that the Prince is Gentleman 33.

Elsewhere in the episode, Stan is hard at work on Grace’s defense. At the same time, she’s struggling to remember a chunk of missing time from the night of Molly’s murder. Stan wants to discover what Grace may have blacked out from that night, so he brings in a forensic psychiatrist who specializes in Memory Recovery Therapy.

GUILT Sneak Peek: Has Grace Found a New Friend Or Foe?

July 18, 2016 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

guilt

Luc’s arrest shocked Grace at the end of last week’s GUILT and when we see her this week, she’ll have spent the night at the police station. Exhausted, she leaves New Scotland Yard only to be accosted by the paparazzi. A stranger comes to her rescue and spirits her away, so she heads off with the Good Samaritan. But she soon suspects that he might have darker intentions. Is he a friend…or a foe?

Meanwhile, Natalie soon realizes that Grace is gone (after spending the morning with Detective Bruno), so she and Bruno frantically search the city to find Grace before it’s too late.

Elsewhere in the episode, Patrick preps for an undercover mission to The Courtenay, a posh sex club (by doing crunches on a boat, of course). He’s determined to get to the bottom of his sister’s double-life and decides that this is the best place to start.

GUILT airs tonight (July 18) at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Freeform.

GUILT Sneak Peek: Billy Zane Plays a Smarmy Lawyer

June 13, 2016 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

guilt

Billy Zane played the villain everyone loves to hate in TITANIC. But in GUILT, the soapy new drama from Freeform, he’s playing a different kind of villain: the smarmy lawyer. But perhaps this villain is a bit of a good guy.

When Grace is named a suspect in the death of her UK roommate, Molly, her boyfriend suggests they head to Paris. Unfortunately for the pair, they’re caught trying to leave the country and, as you can imagine, their actions don’t look like those of innocent people.

While Grace’s sister, Natalie, has flown in from Boston to help, their wealthy stepfather has hired Stan Gutterie to represent Grace. Natalie dislikes his reputation (peeing on a judge’s dinner) and his attitude, but there’s no doubt that Stan seems like the kind of man you want on your side in a crisis like this.

GUILT premieres on June 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Freeform.

GUILT Teasers: Seven Things to Know About Freeform’s Soapy New Mystery Series

June 9, 2016 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

BILLY ZANE, KEVIN RYAN, SAM CASSIDY, DAISY HEAD, ZACHARY FALL, SIMONA BROWN, EMILY TREMAINE, CRISTIAN SOLIMENO, NAOMI RYAN

GUILT begins with a fun night out in London, England. And then, a murder.

After a night out at a club — before ending the night with a party back at her flat — Grace wakes up on the roof of her apartment building with her boyfriend, Luc. The pair head down to the flat and Grace greets Roz (her flatmate), warning her that she and Molly (her other flatmate) invited people back to their apartment last night. Moments later, Molly’s dead body is found. Cue the horrified screams.

GUILT is a soapy whodunnit, drawing much from the true-life Amanda Knox story. Here’s what you need to know about Freeform’s new mystery series:

A Secret Life. Molly Ryan was just 22 years old when she was killed. Before she died, she thought she had a stalker — someone who was breaking into the flat and stealing her things. Molly was a very complicated young woman who had many secrets — secrets she kept from her flatmates. Secrets that probably got her killed.

Focusing in on a Suspect. The local prosecutor, Gwendolyn, is pushing for D.S. Bruno and the police to solve this murder. She’s the central figure behind the guilty Grace crusade from day one, fully believing that Grace had motive to murder her roommate.

Trying to Help Her Sister. Natalie is a prosecutor in Boston, but she drops everything when her sister Grace calls her with news of Molly’s death. She’s shocked when she arrives in London to discover that her sister is being pursued by the police.

Secrets of His Own. Luc definitely seems to know more about Molly than Grace suspects and he tries to convince his girlfriend that they should head to Paris ASAP. Soon cracks develop between Luc and Grace as the police play them against each other.

Watch sneak peeks from the GUILT series premiere

Nothing But the Best. James — Natalie and Grace’s stepfather and a man who also has secrets (assume everyone has secrets) — calls up Natalie as Grace is taken into custody and tells her he “has a guy” who can help defend Grace. His name is Stan Gutterie and he rescues Grace from Gwendolyn’s question. Natalie dislikes him on sight. After all, he urinated on judge’s dinner back in the U.S. and no longer practices law in the states. But he’s a master of spin and can be valuable to Grace.

A Crusade for Justice. Patrick, Molly’s brother, has arrived in town from Northern Ireland and he’s despondent over his sister’s death. He’s also determined to make her killer pay. Gwendolyn wants him to trust the system to bring Molly’s killer to justice, but Patrick isn’t confident that she and the system will help the dead Northern Irish girl.

A Royal Connection. Prince Theo is a man of strong sexual desires and he also has a connection to Molly. It looks like the royal family could be implicated in any number of scandals.

GUILT premieres on June 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on Freeform.

May 16, 2016 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

APB

Inspired by true events, APB centers around the over-extended and under-funded Chicago Police Department. Sky-high crime, cover-ups and officer-involved shootings have led to the department spiraling out of control.

Billionaire engineer Gideon Reeves has suffered the loss of his best friend in a botched attempted robbery. With the killer still at large, Reeves demands justice. Putting up his own money, he decides to take over the troubled 13th District and reboot it as a private police force. Cutting-edge technology created by Reeves himself is brought in and he challenges the officers to think outside the box in how they deal with crime.

But not everyone in the district is happy with the changes. So Reeves starts buidling himself a team of allies, including Officer Theresa Murphy (a street-smart cop who is willing to embrace Reeves’ technology) and Ada Hamilton (Reeves’ gifted tech officer). But can this trio convince Reeves’ skeptics, including Sgt. Ned Conrad and Officers Nicholas Brant and Tasha Goss, to move crime fighting into the 21st century?

GUILT: Anthony Stewart Head Cast in a Recurring Role

March 30, 2016 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

AnthonyHeadDominion

Anthony Stewart Head (BUFFY, DOMINION) has been cast in a recurring role in the new Freeform drama series GUILT as James Lahue, Grace and Natalie Atwood’s wealthy, charming stepfather with ties to murder victim Molly Ryan. He has begun work in London alongside his daughter, Daisy Head, who stars as Grace, the prime suspect in the murder.

According to Freeform, “The definition of guilt is being responsible for wrongdoing or a crime. In the murder of Molly Ryan, many are guilty in different ways, but only one is truly guilty of her murder. When Natalie’s sister Grace (Daisy Head) becomes the prime suspect in her roommate Molly’s murder and popular target for the press and in social media, Natalie (Tremaine) leaves her life in Boston and heads to London to defend her. With the help of an ethically questionable ex-pat lawyer Stan Gutterie (Zane), Natalie starts to question how innocent her sister may really be as more ugly truths start to emerge. In this one-hour soapy drama, the mystery will twist through all layers of London society – from a posh but depraved sex club and all the way up to the Royal Family itself.”

“Grace and Natalie Atwood’s stepfather James Lahue (Stewart Head) is a wealthy businessman whose business isn’t all above board. He has a close relationship with Grace, but Natalie has always seen through his charming facade. Natalie questions whether the attorney he’s hired to represent Grace, Stan Gutterie, is really defending her, or actually using Grace to hide any connection that James might have to Molly’s murder.”
