CBS’ LIMITLESS Reunites DEXTER Co-Stars Jennifer Carpenter And Desmond Harrington
Jennifer Carpenter and her former Dexter co-star Desmond Harrington will be reunited on her new CBS drama LIMITLESS – and they’ll be wading in very familiar waters.
A continuation of the 2011 film starring Bradley Cooper, the series follows a man named Brian Finch (Jake McDorman), who discovers the brain-boosting power of the drug NZT and is coerced by the FBI into using his abilities to solve complex cases for them alongside Special Agent Rebecca Harris (Carpenter). Harrington will play Casey Rooks, a Special Agent with FBI SWAT who has a background in martial arts, combat sports, and meditation.
While he’s assigned to give Brian basic training, he will keep a close eye on him in order to uncover his secret. But Casey has a secret of his own: his ongoing affair with Brian’s boss, Agent Harris. Harrington, who also played Carpenter’s love interest Det. Quinn on Dexter, will appear in one episode, with the potential to recur.
LIMITLESS premieres Sept. 22 at 10PM on CBS.

DEXTER! AGENTS OF SHIELD! THE BLACKLIST! GREY’S ANATOMY! The TV Addict Week in Rewind

Not-So-Killer Ending: Five days following the series finale of DEXTER we remain at a loss for words. Well, except to say that America’s favorite serial killer deserved better. Way better.
Coolest Dude: Forget the new kids on the block. For our money, Clark Gregg’s Coulson is the best thing about the already pretty awesome AGENTS OF SHIELD.
Tackiest Plug: How better to top an episode of DR. PHIL dealing with statutory rape, teen drug abuse and parental abuse? Why by having former Backstreet Boy Nick Carter sing a song and promote his book, of course!
Best Wife Swap: Although the titular star of THE MICHAEL J. FOX SHOW is married in real life to co-star Tracy Pollan, she plays his neighbor on the semi-autobiographical series.
Earliest Celebration: Fox’s BOB’s BURGERS was renewed for a fifth season before season four’s premiere had even aired.
Slickest Action Scene: THE BLACKLIST’s kidnapping of a general’s daughter was edge-of-your-seat tense and worthy of a big-screen sequence. [Read more…]

PaleyFest Fall: Michael C. Hall, Desmond Harrington and James Remar Reflect on DEXTER’s Remarkable Eight Season Run

With only two more episodes left as DEXTER wraps its 8-season run, cast and fans are trying to find ways to say goodbye. At a recent event hosted by the Paley Center in Beverly Hills, one last chance was provided to celebrate the remarkable show that endeared a serial killer to millions of fans with “Dexter: The Final Farewell.” Everyone is hoping that there will be a way for Dexter to find a “happily ever ending,” but it seems incongruous that a killer would have a chance a long, healthy life after tempting fate one too many times.
Taking a minute to offer their reflective thoughts on the remarkable series, a few of the cast took the time to share their thoughts on DEXTER, the legacy of the show and their favorite villains: [Read more…]
