SUPERNATURAL Season 12 Preview: The Family That Hunts Together….

October 6, 2016 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

Mary Winchester will be joining her sons in their hunting adventures on the upcoming twelfth season of SUPERNATURAL. In a new extended preview for the premiere we see Mary dressed up in FBI garb and investigating a case with her boys. We also see what looks like an early season 12 case with blood dripping from a faucet and from Mary’s eyes.

But before she can join the “family business”, Mary and Dean have to find a missing Winchester: Sam. Castiel crawls out of the hole that Lady Toni Bevell banished him to and makes his way back to the Men of Letters bunker. There he officially meets Mary Winchester and tells Dean that a woman kidnapped Sam. Cas joins the Winchesters on a hunt to track down Sam and once he’s reunited with his mother and brother, the trio set out on a case.

While the Winchesters hunt, Castiel teams up with Crowley for an angel/demon road trip to track down Lucifer, who has now jumped into the body of rockstar Vince Vicente.

Tune in to the season premiere of SUPERNATURAL on Thursday, October 13 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

When Dean brings his mother to the bunker in the SUPERNATURAL premiere, it’s clear that he’s expecting a joyous reunion with his brother. Unfortunately, as we’ve seen from the preview for the new season, that isn’t what happens. Dean returns to find Sam missing and when Castiel returns to the bunker he gives Dean the little bit of information he has: Sam was taken by a British woman.

This sends Dean on the road, trying to find his brother before their new enemies hurt him. And we know from the preview and photos from the season premiere that poor Sam is already getting tortured. So how long until the younger Winchester brother is rescued?

It looks like it’s going to happen as early as episode 12.02, which is very good for Sam. Photos from this episode have been released and it shows a proper Winchester reunion, with Mary standing next to her sons. Elsewhere in this episode we’ll also see Rick Springfield as Lucifer’s newest vessel — rockstar Vince Vicente.

Browse through photos above from an all new episode of SUPERNATURAL airing on Thursday, October 20 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

Celebrate SUPERNATURAL Day on September 13!

September 12, 2016 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural1

The longevity of SUPERNATURAL is a surprising story. The show, about to enter its twelfth season this October, is the longest-running show on The CW and the only show currently on The CW that is older than the network itself, having originally premiered on The WB network. In its early days the show’s survival was never guaranteed and at one point it even got banished to Friday nights. But SUPERNATURAL has outlasted everyone’s expectations and the show has spawned a huge and devoted fandom.

To help celebrate the enduring legacy of SUPERNATURAL, Warner Bros. and The CW have teamed up to help bring fans “SUPERNATURAL Day” — a day to celebrate everything the fans love about the show.

Here is everything you need to know about SUPERNATURAL Day:

“Hunters, demons, angels, vampires, ghosts, and all other supernatural creatures will unite with millions of fans on September 13 to celebrate 12 years of the Winchester Brothers’ journey on SUPERNATURAL,” Warner Bros. has announced. “September 13 is already celebrated by fans as it is the official date SUPERNATURAL aired over a decade ago. The day will honor the Winchester brothers and their motto: Saving people, hunting things – the family business. SUPERNATURAL would not be the phenomenon it is today without its biggest supporters: the fans. Fans will have the opportunity to show their ultimate SUPERNATURAL pride.”

SUPERNATURAL Day is a day to celebrate three things: (1) the show, (2) the fans and (3) the cast and crew

Fans can show their SUPERNATURAL pride by:

  • Sharing their favorite moments
  • Showing how they are the biggest fan (ie cosplay, videos, etc)
  • Share images of “Possessed & Obsessed” tattoos on their arms

The CW:

  • Will be sharing favorite moments countdown every week
  • On 9/13, CW will be showing appreciation for fans through retweets, reposts and Instagram pics featuring “Possessed & Obsessed” tattoos

Talent: Some of the cast and crew will also be participating on social media and will be following #SupernaturalDay – keep an eye out for a special message from the show on 9/13!
