supernatural

The Impala has been a very important part of SUPERNATURAL since the beginning of the series. It’s been a home to the Winchester brothers for many years and played a big part in creator Eric Kripke’s “Swan Song”. And it’s probably seen a lot of things that the fans have never seen.

But the fans are going to get the opportunity to see these scenes in an upcoming episode. “Baby” was written from the point of view of the Impala and will show us some day-to-day scenes featuring Sam and Dean — from eating junk food to morning heart-to-heart conversations.

Browse through photos below from the October 28 episode of SUPERNATURAL airing at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.

SUPERNATURAL Sneak Peek: Can Cas be Cured?

October 19, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

Cas managed to track down the Winchesters after the angels failed to help him with the attack dog spell on last week’s SUPERNATURAL, but what’s the next step?

First, the Winchesters are worried about the disappearance of baby Amara. They’re back at the Men of Letters bunker and Sam has been interviewing the neighbors of Jenna’s grandmother to find out if anyone saw anything. They didn’t, but Cas is adamant that baby Amara is more of a ticking time bomb than a baby. Still, Dean seems eager to jump in and defend her, so is that a result of the “connection” that he and Amara share? Sam thinks that God might be around to help, but Cas believes that God has left the building completely. Then Sam thinks there’s another avenue they can pursue: Metatron. As God’s scribe, they think that he may have information.

Meanwhile, Cas is still suffering the effects of the spell and the only solution may be to find Rowena.

SUPERNATURAL Preview: Wigging Out

October 14, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

Dean and Sam dealt with separate challenges in this week’s SUPERNATURAL. After Dean brought Jenna and baby Amara to safety at Jenna’s grandmother’s house, he was called back because the baby started acting creepy (in other words, moving things with her mind). Being a good Catholic lady, the grandmother called on a priest — and Crowley showed up disguised as one. As he told Dean, there was something very strange about that baby and she seemed to “possess” Jenna to kill her own grandmother. In actuality, she ate Jenna’s soul, which led to Dean telling Crowley he thought the baby was the Darkness. When Crowley tried to kill the baby Dean stopped him, and then discovered that Amara was missing. As it turns out, eating souls helps “age” her.

Meanwhile, Sam met a reaper, who told him that the next time the Winchesters died they were gone for good, and tried to find a cure for the rabidness infecting himself and the townspeople. After begging God for help, he started having visions of his time in Hell, but didn’t understand what they meant. He eventually figured out that holy oil would help cure the rabidness and managed to cure himself and others.

Finally, Castiel continued to be tortured by his angel captors, who wanted information on Metatron. Hannah intervened and stopped the torture, but couldn’t heal him from the attack dog spell. She also told Cas that something strange was happening and Cas clued her in on the fact that the Darkness had returned. But eventually Cas turned on Hannah, thinking she had set all of this up. As it turns out, she had, but when the angels tried to “hack” Cas’ brain Hannah attempted to intervene. Cas eventually broke through his bonds and one of the angels killed Hannah before Cas killed the others.

In the end of the episode, Sam and Dean reunited at the Men of Letters bunker as Dean got Sam up to speed on the baby situation and they found Cas bleeding on the floor, calling for help. And Crowley picked up young Amara in a creepy van.

In next week’s episode, it appears that young Amara is with Crowley, according to photos from the episode, but how long before she turns on him? Sam and Dean are on the hunt for her, while Castiel tries to recover from his recent trauma. And then it looks like the Winchesters recruit Rowena to try and cure Castiel from the attack dog spell.

SUPERNATURAL 11.03 Photos: The Hunt for a Baby and a Cure

October 14, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

The Winchesters have been warned that Rowena escaped with the Book of the Damned and the Codex in the season 11 premiere of SUPERNATURAL, but they were too busy dealing with rabid monsters to worry about the missing witch. And while we didn’t see Rowena in the premiere, I’m sure she’ll be making her presence known soon.

In fact, in a late October episode of SUPERNATURAL Rowena will be trying to consolidate her power in order to protect herself from Sam and Dean. As she does that, the brothers are searching for the missing baby connected to the Darkness, who we first met in the premiere.

Watch a preview for episode 11.03 of SUPERNATURAL

Meanwhile, we saw that Castiel had been kidnapped by his fellow angels are asking them for help because of the attack dog spell, but by episode 11.03 he’ll be trying to heal. And Crowley, ever the opportunist, seeks to find a way to use the Darkness for his own personal gain. That little girl he’s with is named Amara in the photo credits, so it appears that the baby that may/may not be the Darkness is aging rapidly and is with Crowley here.

SUPERNATURAL Sneak Peek: There’s Evil in That House

October 13, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

We met Deputy Jenna and a mysterious baby named Amara in the season premiere of SUPERNATURAL. By the end of the episode, Sam had tasked Dean with bringing the two girls home to safety while he remained behind to deal with the “rabid” people that had become infected by the Darkness.

Dean does get Jenna to her grandmother’s home, but it soon becomes clear that something very strange is going on in that house. As Crowley explains in a preview for the episode, the baby is odd. She bears the mark that the Darkness was wearing in her conversation with Dean.

But what is the baby, exactly? Has the Darkness been “reborn” as a baby, much the way fallen angel Anna had been many seasons ago? Or is she just connected to the Darkness? Whatever she is, we suspect Dean will feel compelled to protect her, just as the Darkness said he would.

SUPERNATURAL Preview: Taste the Power

October 7, 2015 By Clarissa Leave a Comment

supernatural

The Darkness was unleashed and took the form of a woman in the season premiere of SUPERNATURAL. After introducing herself to Dean and thanking him for freeing her, she set out to wreak havoc upon the world. The first order of business seemed to be “infecting” people with her evil and turning them into rampaging murderers. As Sam and Dean took shelter in a hospital, along with an injured deputy they had picked up along the way, they found a new father who had been infected. He handed off his baby for safekeeping and the Winchesters suited up to kill the rest of the infected approaching the hospital. But Sam insisted they find a way to save everyone. That resulted in Sam becoming infected while serving as a distraction as Dean and Jenna headed out to save the baby. And in the end we learned two important things: the baby is the Darkness (she bore a version of the Mark of Cain) and the Darkness (a.k.a. Amara) told Dean that they are bound.

Meanwhile, we learned that Crowley had smoked out of his vessel before Castiel stabbed him (and took up residence in a woman temporarily) and Castiel managed to push down the spell long enough to beg the other angels for help. They ended up answering his call and then locked him up so he wouldn’t hurt anyone else.

In the next episode, Dean will be getting Jenna home safely and then returning to Sam, who is dealing with a town that’s infected with a mysterious gas. But Jenna finds herself in a spot of trouble once again and calls Dean for help. He rushes back to save her and then starts to suspect that baby Amara might actually be the Darkness. Meanwhile, Sam is left to deal with a town that’s quickly filling up with monsters and needs to figure out a way to save himself.

SUPERNATURAL 11.02 Photos: Priests and Monsters

October 2, 2015 By Clarissa 1 Comment

SUPERNATURAL executive producer Jeremy Carver said that we should think of the first two episodes of the season as two parts of a story that will reveal what the Darkness is and what it wants.

Watch an extended preview for season 11

As this mystery unfolds, the Winchester brothers are going to be focusing on separate missions in the second episode. Dean gets Jenna (the woman he and his brother meet in the premiere) home safely and then heads to help Sam with a town that’s infected by a deadly and mysterious gas. But Jenna lands herself in danger again and calls Dean for help. Sam tells him to go help her, but then finds it hard to deal with the townspeople who are turning into monsters on his own. Meanwhile, poor Castiel is strung up and Crowley is masquerading as a priest. Is Crowley the one who puts Jenna in danger? It looks like he and Jenna are both in a house with the same woman.
