Watch the WILL & GRACE finale online!
NBC has done something quite cool and unexpected. If you missed Thursday’s WILL & GRACE Finale, you can watch it for free online over at nbc.com
The End of EVERWOOD
In a brief email to the Chicago Tribute, EVERWOOD creator Greg Berlanti had this to say about the end of the series.
“We’re all profoundly sad… but at the same time amazingly grateful we got to be a part of something so special. I would personally like to thank all of the amazing fans and critics that have supported the show (yes, I’m talking about you, Television Without Pity) and connected with it the same way we did. You guys were the reason we were on so long to begin with. Andy Brown, Ephram, Delia, the Abbotts, Nina, Edna, Irv and all the other folks of Everwood that we got to watch grow and change, suffer and soar — they’re not characters, they’re us. And they will live on in our hearts and in syndication forever. I can only hope in my lifetime I get to be a part of something again that touches people in the same way. Until then… enjoy the last few episodes. And thank you guys so much for spending four years in Everwood.”
Executive producer Rina Mimoun had this to say:
“It’s been a very sad week for all of us Everwoodians. While we all knew this was possible, it still felt surprising when it actually happened. I guess crossing all your fingers and toes for 30 days straight doesn’t do that much after all. 🙂
“But all I can say is we had a lovely run, and it was the best four years I’ve ever spent in television. Hopefully the fans will enjoy our finale and keep us in their hearts.”
ENTOURAGE is Back Baby!
The third season of HBO’s male equivelant to Sex & the City, ENTOURAGE, premieres in less then a month – June 11. It’s been way too long since we’ve seen our favourite Hollywood Star, Vince along with the rest of his gang, Drama, Turtle, Eric and super-agent/scene stealer Ari (Jeremy Piven). Season three will follow the trials and tribulations of Vince as he tries to navigate Aquaman Stardom. Check out the trailer below.

theTVaddict Recommends
I just thought I’d thank everyone for a great week. With the UPFRONTS, theTVaddict.com was definitely getting a record number of hits, along with some great comments and emails. Thanks for dropping by and helping add to the excitement (and disappointment to certain fans of EVERWOOD – not to beat a horse dead!).
I thought I’d take a moment to recommend a fantastic book I’m reading, it’s called Desperate Networks, and gives readers a fantastic look inside the TV industry, specifically focusing on the development of some of our favourite hit shows (Lost, Desperate Housewives, American Idol etc.). If you’re a TV ADDICT (like myself), you’ll definitely appreciate the behind-the-scenes look into the inner workings of the television industry. Author Bill Carter (The Late Shift) captures with gusto, the true portraits of the larger-than-life moguls and stars who make TV such a fascinating industry.
Your TV Quotes of the Week
It’s been a crazy week in TV land, and between the UPFRONT madness and me crying myself to sleep due to EVERWOOD’s cancellation, I haven’t had any time to think about my favourite TV quotes of the Week. So dear readers, I really need your help this week. Please post below your favourite quotes from this week in TV. If you’re new to theTVaddict.com – check out past TV Quotes of the Week so you know what the Frack I’m talking about!
Everwood was on the CW schedule?
Okay, what’s going on here? An anonymous poster has led me to the image above. (Or click this link, but it may be taken down by the CW soon!) Clearly EVERWOOD was MEANT to be on the CW schedule – but was replaced by comedies and a REPEAT of AMERICA’S NEXT TOP MODEL. What is going on here??? The opening sentence says it all, “Returning for its fifth season, this acclaimed drama…..”
All I can say is, EVERWOOD FANS UNITE! Let the CW know of our disappointment. The power of blogs, message boards and fansites can’t be ignored. If you have a blog, make sure you express your opinion. Post away on your favourite board. It isn’t too late. The CW will hear us.
AQUAMAN Trailer
AQUAMAN seemed like a promising idea, that was yet another victim of the CW merger. Here is a unique opportunity to see the trailer for the AQUAMAN pilot. Personally, I think it looked really cool – but no doubt really expensive to produce. Check out the trailer by clicking here.
So Bitter
Well, the CW schedule is official, (you can check it out on the official CW web site http://cwtv.com) and I must admit, I’ve never been so disappointed with anything (TV releated) in my entire life. For most of my life, I’ve been pretty lucky. I’ve never had a beloved show ripped away from me before its time. Most of my favourites had nice long runs. Sure there was the odd cancellation that upset me, Jack & Bobby, Grosse Pointe, Models Inc. to name a few – but overall I was happy and lucky (I never watched Angel!).
