Question of the Day: Are You Seeing HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3?
With HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 3 making the jump to the big screen today, this morning’s question of the day should come as no surprise. Simply put, will you be braving the hordes of screaming tweens to watch Zac, Vanessa, Ashley and Corbin graduate in style? Or will you sheepishly wait until the movie is released on DVD as to not have to face the humiliation and awkward looks of being the only twenty-something male in a movie theater comprised of eight year old girls? Ummm… not that this TV Addict was planning on seeing HSM 3 today. Because really, I’m so stoked for SAW V! I swear… I don’t know how I accidently walked into this theater…

Good News, Bad News: HEROES, THE VIEW & 30 ROCK
Good News: This TV Addict just devoured Entertainment Weekly’s Jeff Jensen scathingly accurate look at the disappointment that is HEROES season three. Bad News: Leaving me once again questioning as to why exactly I renewed my subscription to the magazine that most likely won’t arrive in my mailbox until Monday (if I’m lucky!) [see article]
Good News: The seemingly never-ending US election is this close to reaching its exciting conclusion. Bad News: Coinciding with the end of the election to end all elections will be the daily can’t miss blowups between the women of THE VIEW [click for today’s Elizabeth smack-down]
Good News: Next week’s season premiere of 30 ROCK is now streaming for free online on over on hulu.com, myspace.com and nbc.com. Bad News: None of which are available to fans outside of the United States of America.
Good News: Dan Byrd, star of last season’s most under-watched comedic gem ALIENS IN AMERICA has just been cast as a possible apprentice to Sylar on HEROES. Bad News: Possibly putting an end to this TV Addict’s short-lived boycott of the show come January 2009. Stay tuned…. [source]

The TV Addict Investigates THE MENTALIST
In a recent issue of Entertainment Weekly, THE MENTALIST creator Bruno Heller proudly proclaimed that he’d “much rather please 10 old ladies in Iowa than one hipster in New York.”
Well, this TV Addict would like to take this opportunity to pass along a message to Mr. Heller: Mission Accomplished.
Call me a glutton for punishment — or at least someone who refuses to judge a book by it’s terribly predictible cover — but after reading Alynda Wheat’s article chronicling CBS’ unstoppable lineup of crime dramas, this TV Addict found himself oddly compelled to give THE MENTALIST the old college try. After-all, 15 million viewers a week can’t all be wrong, can they?
Surprisingly enough, the answer isn’t nearly as cut and dry as I thought.
Question of the Day: ELI STONE Edition
After ELI STONE only managed to hold on to a disappointing 47% of lead-in DANCING WITH THE STARS’ audience on Tuesday night, this TV Addict would like to pose this question to the 16 or so million Americans who are inexplicably hooked on the reality show juggernaut.
What does ELI STONE have to do to keep 53% of you from changing the channel the moment host Tom Bergeron says good night? Tuesday’s episode had both dancing and stars, thanks to a guest starring turn by the artist formerly known as Joey Potter [Katie Holmes]. Seriously, what’s the deal?
First Look: LOST Season 5
Because it’s never too early to start counting down the days until LOST returns in 2009, enjoy this first look at the highly-anticipated fifth season. Ummm… this post also serves as your cue for all you LOSTperts out there to post away with the frame by frame analysis this TV Addict is far too lazy to do.
Thanks to GMMR for the Tip!
